Mars and Lou credits their existence to fangirling. The two Vancouver musicians - who met over the mutual admiration of a singer in a sombrero - started writing songs to express their feelings over their favourite musicians. After a several songwriting sleepovers in 2014 and a series of open mics, they eventually found themselves writing raps about break ups and night skies.
The duo describes their sound as acoustic pop/hip hop, an accidental result of their varying musical influences. Their EP "11:06," produced by DJ Wundrkut, was released digitally on August 1st 2015 followed by physical demos on August 6th. They have since been featured on Balikbayan Mixtape, and have performed in the Universoul Mixtape series.
