Kimmortal is a queer filipina emcee and singer recognized as a fierce performer who captivates audiences with her rich, old soul sound and articulate flow. She has opened for artists such as Shad k, Azizi Gibson, and featured on stages across Canada. Her debut album Sincerity (2014) was entirely crowd funded by her community and brought her to feature at Canadian Music Week in Toronto. Her animated music video for "Brushing by Heaven's Shoulder" was selected for 2016's Queer Women of Colour film festival in San Francisco and was featured in CBC’s “Exhibitionists” which focused on her multi-medium approach to music as a visual artist. Kimmortal makes her mark in hip hop as a queer-identified filipina headlining for New West Pride festival, Toronto’s Kultural Filipino Arts Festival and the Vancouver International Film fest.
